There's a massive difference between dying and dying hard. Just ask the evil Hans Gruber, the victim of a vicious skyscraper homicide at the hands of detective John McClane. Thankfully, British coders Bits Studios feel exactly the same way and have given GameCube owners the chance to bless bad guys the world over with outrageously spectacular deaths courtesy of your itchy trigger fingers, of course.

Not to be confused with the age-old PSone shooter, Die Hard Trilogy, GameCube belter Die Hard Vendetta is the perfect representation of the hugely popular movie franchise. Incorporating some of the best scenes across the three movies, the game unceremoniously thrusts players into the thick of the action, showcasing both recognisable scenes and brand new situations in which to spray ammunition.

Taking its cue from such greats as Perfect Dark, Max Payne and Metal Gear Solid, Die Hard Vendetta erupts onto the screen in spectacular fashion, with eye-meltingly gorgeous visuals, backed up by solid first-person shoot-em-up action. Plot twists, weapons galore, tactical elements, and the ability to raise your adrenaline to dangerous levels. This is one not to be missed.
