20-03 brings back Hitz's fast-paced 3-on-3 (plus goalies) game play and Midway's trademark Turbo Meter. This is one sports title that turns up the heat literally. When you perform well, your players will catch fire and receive a temporary boost of aggression.

Although the formula is familiar, NHL Hitz 20-03 has enough new features to give hockey fans a reason to get pumped for another go at the hardest hitting-game on earth. In addition to new modes and rosters, this year's rendition of the NHL Hitz series has been injected with a heap of unlockables. Over 120 wacky extras include Fantasy Stadiums, Heads, and Player Models and 250 pieces of officially licensed equipment.

Features:

• Three In a Row: You and one opponent try to blast slapshots at a Tic-Tac-Toe board and get three X's or O's in a row. With quick reflexes you can block your opponent's shots and even claim his spaces for your own.
• Own the Ice: Your goal is to lay claim to five sections of ice. Skating over a section with the puck will grant you ownership until your opponent does the same. Winning requires quick skating, good puck handling and some brutal checks.
• King of the Rink: In a circular arena, you and three other players try to out-score each other by delivering the most brutal checks, jabs and hits. The most vicious player will be crowned after the time limit expires.
• Shooting Gallery: Set atop a city high-rise, teams of two score points by breaking glass panes on a neighboring building. This all-around test of skill will surely be a party pleaser.
• Keep Away: The greediest team wins in this two-on-two contest. Simply holding the puck scores points, but risking a pass is rewarded with a bonus. You'll have to use every trick in the book to avoid your opponent's nasty checks.
• Shootout: This shooter-versus-goalie competition is quite a challenge. You and your opponent take turns defending and attacking a single net through five consecutive rounds.
